About

THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST IS THE PATHWAY TO PERSONAL REDEMPTION WHEREBY YOU ARE SANCTIFIED THROUGH FAITH, EVEN TO RECEIVING A COMPLETE REMISSION OF SINS, ENABLING YOU TO RETURN TO THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD WHILE IN MORTALITY TO BECOME A PERSONAL WITNESS OF THE MARKS OF HIS ATONEMENT, EXPERIENCE HIS GLORY, RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE, AND BE TAUGHT BY HIM.

Journey Doctrine of Christ is based on complimentary (free), online Study Guides to help you learn, understand, believe and live the Doctrine of Christ. The Study Guides invite any and all to see and know this truth for themselves that the Savior, Jesus Christ, has in fact introduced His doctrine and He personally invites all to literally receive personal redemption from Him and be received into His presence while in the flesh (mortality). Contrary to the tradition of some, it was never intended for the moment of mortal death to be the moment when the Lord would bestow personal redemption and even rend the veil.

The study guides provided attempt to use as many references and citations from The Book of Mormon as possible. The Book of Mormon was restored to be a literal guiding light to receiving the Savior, Jesus Christ, Himself. They will also draw from the Doctrine & Covenants, King James Old & New Testaments, and JST Bible.

This is your journey and no one else’s. This is your opportunity! Don’t put off this essential spiritual journey! Nephi (son of Lehi), King Benjamin and even Helaman remind you that there is “none other way.” Everyone has to know this truth for themselves. You will not get this experience through spiritual osmosis. You will have to put the effort in but, if you do you will surely be rewarded.

Who is this for

This is primarily intended for those with a foundational understanding of doctrines taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS Church). However, in general, it is for any individual seeking to become special servants of the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is for those seeking their personal redemption and ultimately His presence. In general, it is for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see.

Purpose

LEARN IT. This study guide is intended to point you mostly to the written word of the Lord. It’s in the written word that you will learn what the Doctrine of Christ is, uncover previously hidden truths, who should learn it and even learn why you should learn it. Not sure you’re interested in really learning the Doctrine of Christ? Or, think you already know what the Doctrine of Christ is? That’s ok, there are even sections dedicated to those thoughts.

BELIEVE IT. By pointing you to the scriptures, it is pointing you to the Lord. It is His doctrine. He becomes the Teacher. In pointing you to the scriptures you will be able to receive truth in the written word and pure truth through the voice of the Lord (personal revelation). There are even “ponder” sections peppered throughout the study guide to prompt you to ask follow-up questions to your study in the scriptures. This is to help the Lord’s spirit speak to you. When the Lord speaks His truth to you through the Holy Ghost it will be undeniable.

LIVE IT. Learning and believing the doctrine with conviction should leave you desiring to receive a complete redemption or a fulfillment of the Doctrine of Christ. There are sections to help you take next steps but if you take the Lord as your guide he will help you know exactly what to do every step of the way until you arrive at Him.

TEACH IT.  Once the promise of complete redemption was given to Adam and Eve in the garden, they were commanded by the Lord to “teach it unto your children, that all men, everywhere, must repent, or they can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God, for no unclean thing can dwell there, or dwell in his presence…Therefore I give unto you a commandment, to teach these things freely unto your children.” And why you ask? “…That ye might be sanctified from all sin, and enjoy the words of eternal life in this world, and eternal life in the world to come, even immortal glory” (Moses 6:57-59). Teaching it includes sharing these study guides with others so they can begin their own journey.

Study Guides are for Your Personal Study

The scriptures are simply to “point you” in the right direction. They also do not represent all the possible scriptures. Please don’t just read the partial verses from the outline. It is recommended that you search His words in scripture by reading, pondering and receiving the verses before and after the named verses as well as footnotes and other places that His Spirit may lead you. Please don’t read for the sake of conquest and checking boxes. “Feast” upon the words of Christ.

The study guides have already gone through several versions with updates to formatting, content and so forth. They are updated regularly as improvements or content is inspired.

The Compiler

It is authored or compiled anonymously to ensure that the focus is on the message instead of the messenger. The author, like everyone else, has their own unique journey and has actually received their own personal experiences from the Lord on this path. The author is not a follower of any single person quoted or referenced within this compilation but rather they are a follower of Christ and His word. The author is an active, peaceful, and loving member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is not ex-Mormon, anti-Mormon and not associated with any third party apostate group. The author agrees that God is “no respecter of persons” and accepts that each person has their own unique journey with respect to learning, believing and living the doctrine of Christ. The path outlined in Christ’s doctrine found in scripture will be the same for everyone. However, each person will have their own unique journey on that path. As Nephi says, “there is none other way.”

All study guides and blog posts are not monetized. I have no personal gain from any amount of readership.
